Two PhD positions are open in the research center Juelich, as part of the new graduate school for data science in life, earth and energy

These positions are suitable for chemical or mechanical engineers with interest in machine learning and data science. The positions are also suitable for applied mathematicians or computer scientists with an aptitude for engineering problems.

Also open are 1-2 PhD positions in RWTH in the topic process design and process operation of chemical processes using renewable feedstock (CO₂, H₂ and biomass) and energy. These positions are suitable for chemical engineers and potentially for mechanical engineers.
