The research activities of the laboratory are summarized as follows:

  • Processing of cellulose by-products in the production of Chemical Paper Pulp.
  • Energy and Chemicals from Biomass (biothanol, biogas, solid fuel).
  • Chemical and Industrial Technology of Hydrocarbons.
  • Enzyme systems of industrial interest.
  • Technology of surface active compounds.
  • Polymers – soil conditioners, coated fertilizers, explosives.
  • Gasification of lignites, peats.
  • Technology of environmental protection.

The capabilities for consulting services are the following:

  • Solution of technological problems in the Organic Chemical Industry,
  • with emphasis in raw materials (utilization, analysis, potential)
  • Environmental protection.
  • Utilization of byproducts/refuse (energy).
  • Product development (analysis, properties).
