Course Description

The course examines a range of technological practices that affect our daily lives. In particular, students are exploring the ways that technology shapes and is shaped by social and political interests. The ways in which technologies are developed and used, allow us to make decisions and act responsibly in matters of social, political and ethical relevance to scientific and technological progress. The course emphasizes on the inter-construction of technology and society, and in particular gender – technology relations.
