Course Description

The course aims at the theoretical analysis and application of basic numerical methods of approximate solution (in a PC), of differential equations of transport phenomena, having ultimate aim to investigate and highlight the physical content of predictive mathematical models of problems. Course content includes: Boundary Value Problem Solving, Galerkin Weighted Balances, Base Functions on Finite Elements, Calculation of Discretionary Equations, Non-linear Equations, Coding of Finite Element Method, Applying Methods of Computational Fluid Dynamics in complex Transport Phenomena problems.
