Course Description
The course deals with the birth and evolution of modern science (17th-20th century) which has changed and continues to drastically change the world. At the same time, a thematic set of cross-sections in the history of science is presented, which includes: traditional issues, such as its institutional constitution, the links of science with technology – as symmetrical and absolutely interconnected concepts -, and newer areas of study, such as the popularization of science and its relationship to gender and also the relationship to war (Manhattan Project/ atomic bomb construction).
