The aims of the course are: – Acquisition of design knowledge in specialized areas of integrated design of a chemical plant. -Development of skills in the selection of different types of chemical reactors and separators. -Development of skills in redesigning and expanding an existing unit. – Familiarization with holistic evaluation techniques of the unit. – Skills development. – Examination of environmental parameters and Life Cycle Analysis of the proposed design solution. -Using simulation software to achieve all of the abovementioned goals for specific design specifications each time.

The course provides a process design project.
